"back in june designboom hinted at an upcoming design exhibit curated by tokujin yoshioka featuring new work by the japanese designer. well now the details are in. yoshioka will be presenting his new 'venus’ chair made from natural crystal at ‘second nature’, an exhibition being held in tokyo from october 17th to january 18th, 2009."
"at ‘second nature’ tokujin yoshioka will install 4 large water tanks to hold a fibre structure submerged in water. visitors will be able to see the process of the structure growing. the final result is not controllable by humans and left up to nature. the images shown here are prototypes of the full-size models."
