Partners & Spade, the brand consultancy firm started by Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduti, is now offering a custom painting service as part of its new boutique operation at 40 Great Jones Street in New York City. (Among other curios, it sells antique globes and Rene Ricard canvases as well as an aviary.) The company will commission the artist Ann Wood to create a unique log painting made to measure for your mantel (starting at $1,500). Billed as a collaborative effort, the package takes an estimated four to five weeks to complete, and clients are encouraged to contribute as to the color of the flames, andiron style and preferred background image. Wood’s artwork was previously featured in the film 'Junebug.'"
