and it was awesome
and here are the great little goodies that i picked up

25th st

i went to the 25th st flea market today
and yes, ari, it's as fantastic as you imagine, even at closing time when almost everything is packed away.
this one booth, in particular, had some really beautiful things, two of which i ended up purchasing.

this stool/end table(?) is really large, with beautiful legs
and he is only asking 200$
i wanted it, but would have a hard time justifying it

incredible antique fan, that works and oscillates
i almost bought this one for my boyfriend, but didn't want to force strange antiques on him

i think i actually like the hat box more than the louis trunk

apparently this painting was done by a blind man
i'm not sure i believe it, but it was pretty neat in person
